Terrorists Attack Somali Hotel

The Somali militant group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a hotel in Mogadishu Sunday, leaving at least 10 people dead, including the owner of the hotel, a military commander and two lawmakers. Russia Mourns As Investigators Work At Scene Of Egypt Air Disaster

Russia mourned the 224 victims of the country’s deadliest air disaster while investigators struggled to determine what caused a passenger jet carrying vacationers home from an Egyptian beach resort to crash on the Sinai Peninsula about a half an hour after takeoff. Security forces in Ukraine have arrested Hennadiy Korban, who ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Kyiv earlier this month.
